Santa stopped by, kids were all smiles, the holiday market was hopping, and CEVFFA felt the love with so many generous donations ❤️

‘Twas the evening of December 6th… ✨
Downtown Cle Elum glowed 💡 like a Christmas storybook. From 4–8 PM, nearly 1k visitors soaked in the magic—some traveling all the way from Illinois and Oregon to enjoy our Lighted Parade. At 6 PM, the enchantment peaked with 869 joyful ...guests filling the streets, spending an average of 71 festive minutes wrapped in lights, laughter, and holiday cheer.
These numbers show the turnout—but the real magic was in the moments shared. ❄️❤️
Why no fire pits?
City-approved fire pits require volunteer staffing, and this year we didn’t have enough helpers. We hope to bring them back next year! (Fire pit rules come from the Cle Elum Fire Department.)
Fireworks, parade, and downtown lights?
These are made possible by the Cle Elum Downtown Association through Lodging Tax funds, sponsorships, and CEDA.
Why fireworks right after the parade?
To keep everyone safely in one place, reopen streets quickly, and encourage downtown shopping afterward. 🎆
Why a shorter parade?
Our Christmas Parade had 23 bright floats—perfect for small-town charm! (For comparison: Pioneer Days has over 100 entries + horses, which makes it much longer.) ✅

We’ll be accepting cash or check donations with suggested amounts for small, medium, and large gifts. Just drop off your items during the dates listed—we’ll be open during normal ...business hours.
Every donation goes directly toward supporting our downtown community, so you can check off your holiday to-do list and give back at the same time!
