“Many hands make light work” ~Sir Bevis of Hampton

Each year we gather a group of volunteers to clean up Downtown Cle Elum after a long winter. We supply garbage bags, some tools, and coffee and donuts to help fuel the morning!

This year we had the Cle Elum Fire Department and the Cle Elum Fire Association clean sidewalks, Public Works cleaned streets and volunteers met on Saturday April 30 to walk and clean from the top of Safeway Hill to Peoh.  Thank you to Safeway, Pioneer Coffee and Cle Elum Bakery for donating beverages and snacks to all the volunteers.  (It was the coldest and rainiest clean up day on record, but 30 dedicated volunteers showed up to help!)

The 2023 Downtown Clean Up will be on April 29, 2023.
