Cle Elum Downtown Association Announces Search for Executive Director

Cle Elum, WA — 2/10/2026 — The Cle Elum Downtown Association (CEDA) is pleased to announce the opening of its full-time Executive Director position. CEDA is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and community-focused leader to guide the organization’s continued efforts to strengthen and revitalize downtown Cle Elum.

The Executive Director serves as the chief administrative and strategic leader of the organization, working closely with the Board of Directors, downtown businesses, community partners, and stakeholders to advance economic vitality, community engagement, and downtown development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Providing strategic leadership and vision aligned with CEDA’s mission
• Overseeing daily operations, programs, and financial management
• Leading fundraising, grant writing, and donor development efforts
• Supporting downtown business development, events, and promotional activities
• Serving as the primary liaison with city officials, partners, and the public
• Managing staff, contractors, and volunteers
• Supporting and collaborating with the Board of Directors
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership and management experience, preferably in nonprofit or community development
• Strong organizational, financial, and strategic planning skills
• Experience with fundraising, grants, and partnership development
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Passion for downtown revitalization and community-based work
